Auto glass

Developments in the auto glass industry have lead to the invention of laminated glass. Laminated glass is created by bonding two glass sheets to a tough layer of plastic, producing a sandwich-like plate that’s hard to penetrate in a crash.

Keeping items out is almost as important as keeping passengers in the car during an auto accident. Laminated auto glass does a very efficient job of keeping passengers inside the vehicle during a head-on collision. The laminated glass also remains on the plastic sheet, so splinters of glass don’t come off and harm passengers.

Most laminated auto glass also benefits from UV protection. You shouldn’t have to wear sunscreen when driving in your car so it’s good to know that you are protected against sunburns behind the wheel.
